Introducing the H-Factor

Let us be frank, here: there are plenty of spaces that are unsuitable to sound-reinforcement purposes, especially spoken word – and they are often the most used, or the most coveted ones… they just shouldn’t be used, yet they are (and more than others, too).

And, frankly speaking: this is why the new Outline H-Series was conceived, aimed at projecting intelligibility onto acoustically challenging spaces, with a keen focus on fixed installations – without forgetting, not even for a moment, that as soon as you find out what its output’s worth, you’ll want to add mobile applications to the equation, as well.

H Series

Though it currently hosts only two models, good things come to those who wait – for H-Series is meant to address the needs of small(er) and big(ger) spaces in a near future, too – with further models added at the opposite ends of applications.

Both H462 and H463 consist of an extruded-aluminum body sized 110 x 13 x 13 cm, with six 4” LF components coupled to an HF array with two or three 1” drivers, respectively; frequency response extends from 95Hz thru’ 19kHz, for an output of 123 or 126 dB SPL (preliminarily calculated), respectively.

H462 and H463 both exhibit broad-range cardioid behaviour, with 90° horizontal dispersion by 30° or 20° on vertical axis, for a more diffused or more focused soundfield application, respectively, with selectable +5/-15° vertical tilt, in either low-down or high-top deployment.

  • No-tricks, no-frills, un-digital beam steering, just use brain and hands to aim coverage where needed.
  • Extruded aluminum cabinet, 3D-pressed-steel front-grille, alternate vertical deployment for application-specific orientation.
